Coach Shaun O’Brien has been a CrossFitter for six years and specializes in endurance and run bio-mechanics. An avid skier, mountain biker, traveler, and food and wine enthusiast, Shaun enjoys seeing our athletes achieve PRs and break down barriers.
His own athletic background includes being a Boston Marathon qualifier and Ironman Finisher. By chance, he started as personal trainer at a globe-gym that had a CrossFit Box. “I dropped in on a few classes, got my Level 1 cert and the rest is history,” he says.
When not in the gym, Shaun loves to ski, mountain bike, travel (dropping in on CrossFit Boxes around the world), hike with his wife, cook and open wine with friends. His favorite motivational saying: “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
